Outlook Desktop (Classic)
In the Outlook Desktop (Classic) app, with the suspicious e-mail open, select the “Phish Alert Report” button, then click “Phish Alert” in the pane that opens to the right.
Outlook Desktop (New)
In the Outlook Desktop (New) app, with the suspicious e-mail open, the button is at the top of the message instead, but functions the same. Click the button, then click “Phish Alert” in the pane that opens to the right.
Outlook Mobile
In the Outlook Mobile app, with the suspicious e-mail open, tap the 3-dots at the top-right, swipe up, and you’ll see the button at the bottom of your screen.
(Chip’s e-mail here is not malicious thankfully, so we won’t be reporting it today, but do remember that attackers will often try to impersonate people you know and work with! We also won’t take action on a legitimate e-mail, so it’s always a good idea to report a message if you have concerns.)
Outlook on the Web (outlook.office.com)
In Outlook on the Web, it works similarly to mobile. Tap the 3-dots at the top-right, and the button appears.
